Before your first appointment, our team will verify your insurance benefits and provide an estimate of your expected costs, including copays, deductibles, or coinsurance whenever possible. However we recommend that you also call your insurance to verify benefits as well.
-
Please notify our office as soon as possible if you receive new insurance or your policy changes. This helps prevent claim delays or unexpected charges.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as eligible Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards for therapy services. Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made.
We securely process all payments through TherapyPortal, our HIPAA-compliant client portal. Your payment information is encrypted and securely stored, and our staff does not have access to your full credit or debit card details. -
Billing Disclaimer
Inclusive Minds Therapy contracts with KAP Medical Billing to process and manage insurance claims on our behalf. -
Yes. Many clients choose to pay privately instead of using insurance. Self-pay offers additional privacy and flexibility because your diagnosis and treatment information are not shared with your insurance company. We utilized a sliding scale to help determine session costs.
-
Payment is due at the time of service. However, if you are using insurance, your copay, coinsurance, deductible, or other patient responsibility may not be processed until after your insurance claim has been received and finalized.
Waiting until your insurance claim is processed helps ensure you are charged the correct amount and reduces the likelihood of overpayments or additional adjustments. As a result, you may notice that payments are processed 1–2 weeks after your appointment, depending on how quickly your insurance company processes the claim.
If you have any questions about a charge or would like to review your account, please contact our office. We're happy to provide a billing statement and explain how your payments have been applied.

Insurance coverage for couples and family therapy depends on your specific plan and the medical necessity requirements. Some services may be offered as self-pay if they do not meet insurance billing guidelines.
