Meet Your Therapist.
Therapist, Owner
Courtney Monreal, LMSW
Courtney is a dedicated therapist committed to providing inclusive, affirming care to individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds. Her practice embraces and celebrates the full spectrum of sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. She is certified by the NASW to provide Gender Identity care and brings deep sensitivity to the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals across the lifespan.
Courtney also specializes in eating disorder recovery and is in the process of obtaining advanced certification in this area. Her work is rooted in the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and emphasizes body respect, weight inclusivity, and dismantling harmful narratives around food and body image. She understands that eating disorders don’t exist in a vacuum—they are shaped by complex factors including culture, race, community values, systemic oppression, and access to care.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each client’s lived experience. She is particularly passionate about creating safe, judgment-free spaces where individuals from marginalized identities feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their mental health.
Whether you are seeking support for personal challenges, relationship dynamics, identity exploration, or eating and body image concerns, Courtney provides thoughtful, collaborative care that honors your unique path, identity, and goals.

Kara provides a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by persistent worry, struggling with past experiences, or finding yourself stuck in recurring conflict patterns, therapy can offer clarity, stability, and meaningful change. You will explore how early relational experiences shape current relationship dynamics. In couples work, she guides partners in slowing down conflict, increasing empathy, and learning structured communication skills.
